We are busy making straight candles and candle holders to sell at the Dunlavin Arts Festival. We sometimes sell our candles in the Bridge as well. We are weeding, planting cabbages, and watering in the garden. Jeremy took a cow to the factory a few weeks ago.

Eilis' Birthday!

It was Eilis' 25th birthday yesterday. We had a party last evening in Ard Glas. We were all dancing and we all had fun. Ben came up from the Bridge. Eilis' mom came and she was taking pictures non-stop! Eilis had a gorgeous cake - it was strawberry cheesecake made in our bakery. She had a good turn-out at her party.

It was Muirna's and Jarrad's wedding anniversary last Monday. We all had good fun in Ard Glas. We all had champagne and danced.

Mini Marathon

On June 1st, Lyn, Annie, Ingfrid, myself, and our fitness guru Adele headed to Dublin to participate in the Flora Women's Mini Marathon. We survived the blazing heat of the city streets, finishing the 10km in under 2 hours, taking time to dance to the live music every few kilometers. Lyn and Annie have been training for the marathon every week in Kilashee, with the help of Adele, so they were well fit for the walk. Our friends from the Bridge - Christine, Siobhan, Leah, and Geraldine - also participated in the race. Congratulations, ladies!
